Tim Houchin

Tim Houchin became an attorney in 2001 and has been in private practice since June 2007.  Prior to initiating his work as a private practice attorney, Tim worked as a Staff Attorney with the University of Tulsa Legal Clinic.  At the University of Tulsa, he worked with students and handled cases for the Health Law Project from August 2004 until May, 2007. He continues to be an adjunct professor at the University of Tulsa and has taught Interviewing, Counseling and Negotiation, Pre-Trial Practice and Externship courses.  As a highly experienced attorney, Tim is passionate about helping his clients achieve their goals. He is known for his strategic thinking, his attention to detail, and his ability to provide compassionate and knowledgeable representation when navigating complicated family legal situations. He has a wide range of experience dealing with both small and large business transactions, family law, mediation, estate planning, guardianship issues, cannabis business services and all forms of civil litigation. 

In addition to his legal practice, Tim serves as an Administrative Law Judge for the Oklahoma Department of Education.

Tim earned his law degree from Cornell Law School in 2001.  Before to attending law school he worked as a mental health therapist and earned his Bachelor Degree and Masters Degree from the University of Oklahoma in psychology.
